On 13 January 2025 [sic], John (Jack) Douglas Young Hickman, aged 100 years, died peacefully, surrounded by his family in Saint John, N.B. [New Brunswick, Canada] He is survived by his wife Juliet (née Williams), his sons Douglas (Pam), Stephen (Jean) and Charles (Gay), 7 grandchildren (Angela, Connie, Jenny; Alex, Sarah; Ashley, Adam [Nicholas in DPB]), 6 great-grandchildren and 2 more great-grandchildren who will be born in winter/spring 2026. He was predeceased by his brother William and is survived by his brother Joseph, and cousins, nephew and nieces.
