From the Telegraph of 7 Nov 2023: HENSON Anne, died aged 84 on 18th October. Beloved mother of Guy, grandmother of Edward, Harry and Arthur. Service of Thanksgiving at St Mary's Church, Westow, at 2.30 p.m. on Wednesday 15th November, and afterwards at Westow Cricket Club. Family flowers only please. She was d of Charles Frederick RATCLIFFE-BROTHERTON 1882-1949 sometime head of that gentry family of Kirkham Abbey, and Lurline Winifred ELLIOT-PYLE. She m 1st 1965 (div 1968) as his 1st w David Foulk 1932-2021 s of Lt-Col Ririd MYDDELTON 1902-88 sometime head of that gentry family of Chirk Castle, and Lady Mary Margaret Elizabeth PETTY-FITZMAURICE 1910-2003 (gd of 5th Marquess of LANSDOWNE 1847-1927, and gd of 4th Earl of MINTO 1845-1914 and 2xgt gd of 2nd Earl GREY 1764-1845 etc), and had a son as above, who his m with three sons as above. She m 2nd 19_, ___ HENSON.

The late Mrs Henson's mother, née Lurline Winifred "Muffy" ELLIOT-PYLE (15 IV 1902 - 23 III 1994), was the daughter of Col George Elliot Aubone PYLE, later ELLIOT-PYLE, OBE (13 I 1865 - 29 IX 1954) and his wife (married 1901), Florence Lurline VARTY-ROGERS (1874 - 25 VI 1955). Her paternal grandparents were Dr Thomas Thompson PYLE, MD (1837 - 20 I 1890) and his wife (married 20 XI 1862), Margaret Walker ELLIOT (9 XI 1837 - 29 XI 1916), eldest daughter of Sir George ELLIOT, 1st Bt (18 III 1815 - 23 XII 1893), MP (Conservative) for North Durham, 1868-74, 1874-80 and 1881-85, and for Monmouth Boroughs, 1886-92.
