From the Times of 11 September 2018: HURD Pepita Lilian (née Hingston) passed away peacefully on 4th September 2018, aged 73, from cancer. A thanksgiving service will be held on Tuesday 25th September, at 2pm, at St John the Baptist, Mildenhall, to which donations may be sent.

She was d of Lt-Col Walter George HINGSTON OBE (1905-92, s of Charles Alfred HINGSTON (1874-1959) and Mildred Alice PLEYDELL-BOUVERIE (1877-1961), scion of the RADNOR earls etc etc) of Ramsbury, Wiltshire, and Elizabeth Margaret (1917-2012) d of Brig Sir Clinton Gresham LEWIS OBE (1885-1978) by his 1916 m to Lilian Eyre WACE (c1890-1962). She m 1973 Hon Stephen Anthony HURD (b 1933) s of the LP Baron HURD (1901-66, father of the LP Baron HURD OF WESTWELL (b 1930)) and Stephanie Frances CORNER (1904-85), and had two sons.
