Angela Sieff (née Pringle) who died at her home, 21 April, 2008, was
the 2nd wife of Jonathan Sieff (b 21 Dec 1933), thr Marks & Spencer
heir. She was Angela Pringle, dau of Brig Douglas Pringle, of The
Precincts, Canterbury, and married Mr Sieff, 6 Apr 1966. Her husband
is a son of the Hon Michadel David Sieff, CBE (1911-87), and a
grandson of the Baron Sieff (life peer 1966) (1889-1972), by his wife
Rebecca Marks, dau of Michael Marks, co-founder of Marks & Spencer.
Mrs Sieff was div 19_. She leaves a daughter, Rebecca (b 27 May 1967),
chatelaine of Castle Howard, York, wife of the Hon Simon Howard, a son
of the life peer Baron Howard of Henderskelfe (b 1984, scion of the
Earl of Carlisle), and twin grandchildren, Merlin and Octavia Howard,
b York, 4 Feb 2002.
The funeral will take place at St. Michael & All Angels, Knights
Enham, Hampshire, 9th May.
