She was d of Brig (Ralph) Frederick Richard BECHER CBE 1896-1979 sometime head of that Irish gentry family and Edith Jessica 1905-2001 d of Albert Edward COX 1868-1937 of that gentry family of Blackhill and his 2 w Louise Mary 1880-1960 d of Lt-Col Edmund Robert STEWART-RICHARDSON 1848-1917 (s of Sir John STEWART-RICHARDSON 13 Bt 1797-1881 of Pitfour) and Jessica Mary 1859-94 d of Montagu Stephen WILLIAMS QC 1835-92 (ODNB) and Louisa Annie 1834-77 d of the actor Robert KEELEY 1793-1869 (ODNB) and the actress Mary Anne GOWARD 1805-99 (ODNB). She m 1964 reg Q3 Westminster Charles Allen 1919-93 s of George Allen BUDDEN 1892-1936 of Wolfeton, Dorchester, Dorset by his 2 July 1913 m (Winfrith Newburgh, Dorset) to Ida Mary Emma HOOPER 1882-1962, and had two sons and a dau.
