From the Telegraph of 27 Jan 2026: MORANT Edward John Francis died peacefully on 22nd January 2026, aged 84. Beloved husband of the late Algie Morant, and father to Laura and the late John Morant. There will be a private funeral with a memorial service later in the year. Details to follow.
