From The Telegraph of 11 Nov ANGGARD Our dear mother, Adele (née Alers Hankey), born on 31st July 1933, has peacefully passed away in Stockholm, on 3rd November 2023, leaving us with a great loss. She was a much loved mother, grandmother and friend. The Funeral will take place at Norra Kapellet, Solna, Stockholm on Friday 1st December at 11 a.m. After the service we invite you to a memorial gathering with refreshments at Koppartälten…

She was d of 2^nd Baron HANKEY 1905-96 and Frances Bevyl 1907-57 d of Walter Erskine STUART-MENTETH 1877-1956 (s of Sir James Frederick STUART-MENTETH 4th Bt 1846-1926) and Violet Grace 1873-1970 dau of Henry LAFONE 1830-1917 (f of Ven Henry Lafone d 1955 son-in-law of Sir William Henry BROADBENT 1^st Bt 1835-1907) and his 2^nd w (m 1863) Lucy MALINS 1839-1910. She m 1964 (div 1987) Erik Emil s of Gosta ANGGARD of Sweden, and had a son and two daus.
