I do not feel at all sure-footed in interpreting entries in South African Gazettes. Can anyone confirm that these entries relate to the death of Lady Jean Williams-Freeman, née Sinclair?

One date in the first entry "1936-02-11" is definitely her birth date. Is "2011-02-09" her death date? Or are these entries about something else? "DP Williams-Freeman" is presumably her husband, David Peere Williams-Freeman.

Main criteria is that the late Jean was the eldest dau. of James Roderick Sinclair,19th Earl of Caithness (1906-65) by his 1st wife (m.1933)  Grizel Margaret (1908-43),dau. of Sir George Miller-Cunningham (1867-1945) and his wife Georgiana Justina Elizabeth Lucy Macpherson (1875-1937).

She was the eldest half-sister of the present 20th Earl.
