From the Telegraph of 5 Dec 2022: WIGGIN Diana Wiggin (Anstey) (née Durnford-Slater) died on November 16th aged 83 at her home with dog, son and friends by her side. Service of Thanksgiving to be held at Grosmont Church on April 11th at 2 p.m. No flowers, but donations to St Michael’s Hospice, Hereford.
She was d of Adm Sir Robin Leonard Francis DURNFORD-SLATER KCB 1902-84 and Mary Alice Hilleary d of Col Edward Gelson GREGSON CMG CIE 1877-1942 and Ella Corisande 1872-1960 d of Frederick Edward HILLEARY 1841-1921 by his 1865 m reg Q2 London to Alice SMITH c1841-1923. She m 1st c1961 reg Q1 Kent Simon John ANSTEY of Toronto, Canada and had a son James. She m 2nd 1986 (div 1997) (as his 3rd of four wives) Henry Walter b 1939 s of Lt-Col Sir William Henry WIGGIN 1888-1951 (gs of Sir Henry Samuel WIGGIN 1st Bt 1824-1905) and Elizabeth (Betty) Ethelston 1892-1959 d of Capt John Danvers POWER MVO 1858-1927 of Thurloxton, Somerset and Edith Ethelston 1867-1924 d of Thomas Owen WETHERED 1832-1921 [MP Marlow 1868-80] sometime head of that gentry family of Remnantz and Edith Grace ETHELSTON 1839-1924.
