He m 2013 (ref 399/14 Dunblane) Cordelia Elizabeth (b 1981 ref 473/990 Stirling & the Times 8 Dec) d of Patrick Kenneth STIRLING-AIRD (b 1943), scion of the Scots gentry family of that name of Kippendavie, by his 1973 m (Times engagement 23 Nov 1972) to (Elizabeth) Susan (b 1945 in Cairo) d of Gp Capt Frederick Sleeman WAKEHAM RAF (1911-80) of Foxwood House, Buxted, Sussex, by his 1937 m (reg Q1 Cheshire) to Elizabeth (Betsy) G HENRY (d 1983).

Their dau Octavia Florence Stirling was b 2015.
