From the Telegraph & Times of 7 Dec 2022: BEVAN Hugo. Beloved husband to Carol and father to Georgina, Rupert, Charlotte and Sophie and 10 much loved grandchildren, died peacefully on 1st December 2022, aged 86. Service of Thanksgiving at 12 noon on 21st December 2022, at St Mary’s Church, Everdon, Northants... after private family burial service.
He was s of Capt Morier Geoffrey Bosanquet BEVAN 1899-1994 scion of that gentry family f/o Trent Park and Adele Barbara 1902-91 d of Capt Harold LOCKE 1871-1930 of Grange, Broadhembury, Devon b his 1897 m reg Q3 Devon to Nina Marian Haynes LOVELL 1875-1959. He m 1959 Carol d of Capt Charles Nevile FANE 1911-ka1940 (4xgt gs of 8th Earl of WESTMORLAND 1701-71 and gs of gs of 21st Baron CLINTON 1863-1957 - making him f of the present 22nd Baron CLINTON b 1934) and as her 1st h Gladys Mabel 1908-89 d of Rt Hon Sir Gerald Augustus LOWTHER GCMG CB 1st & only Bt 1858-1916 and Alice BLIGHT c1873-1939, and had a son and three daus as above.
