From the Times of 10 September 2019: NORTHBOURNE Lord, Christopher George Walter James died on September 8th, aged 93. Beloved husband of Marie Sygne, loving father of Charles, Anthony, Sebastian and Ophelia, adored grandfather of 11 grandchildren. Funerat at St Augustine's Church, Northbourne, at 3pm, on Friday 20th September.

He was s of 4th Baron NORTHBOURNE (1896-1982) and Katharine Louise NICKERSON (d 1980) of Massachusetts, USA. He m 1959 (Aliky Louise Hélène) Marie-Sygne (b 1937) d of Henri Charles CLAUDEL (1912-2016) and Christina DIPLARAKOS (1918-99), and had three sons and a dau as above. His eldest son succeeds him:

Charles Walter Henri JAMES (b 1960) [6th] Baron NORTHBOURNE. Has yet to establish his claim and appear on the Roll of the Peerage. He m 1987 Catherine Lucy (b 1964 reg Q4 Lancashire) d of William Ralph BURROWS of Prescot, Lancashire by his 1963 m (reg Q2 Prescot, Lancashire) to Joy V TAYLOR, and had two sons and a dau:
