Major Oliver PLUNKET, on relinquishment of the appointment as Equerry to The Queen.

Major Oliver David Conyngham Plunket b 1994, The Rifles, was a scion of the Barons Plunket. He was Equerry to HM Queen Camilla 2022-2025 and acted as Groom of the Robes to HM at the 2023 Coronation. For the press the highlight of his service was when he used his sword to hang decorations on the Christmas tree at Clarence House in 2024
His successor as equerry will be Maj Rob Treasure also of The Rifles.
