He was the s of Ernest Keppel (Kep) TURNOUR (1884-1946), scion of the Earls of Winterton being descended from the 3rd son of the 2nd Earl, and (m 1923) Grace (Gay) FLORANCE (d 1950). He m 1963 Helen POGUE (d 2016).
