I hadn't really thought about this before but I note that para 12 of the Civil Partnership (Opposite-sex Couples) Regulations 2019 provides that the children of a couple in an opposite-sex civil partnership are treated as legitimate so I assume they would be able to inherit peerages and titles of honour?

I am not sure how civil partnerships treats those in opposite-sex civil partnerships. I thought the child borne always had to be the child of individuals who legally married in order to inherit a peerage? Not in a civil partnership. I think someone else may have some expertise on the matter
