From the Telegraph of 28 May 2024: HARDIE Laetitia Bouverie died peacefully on May 23rd aged 105. Devoted wife of the late Doctor Patrick Hardie and greatly loved mother of Olivia. True to her many friends. At her request funeral private.

She was d of Louis John WYATT 1874-1955 by his 4 June 1904 m in Cheshire to Marion Jessie 1880-1965 d of William SLOANE c1848-1922 by his 1875 m reg Q3 Chester to Marion Jean FORREST c1853-1936. She m 1941 reg Q3 Sussex Patrick John HARDIE MBE 1913-95. Their dau Olivia Mary b 1952 reg Q2 Glos m 1991 Francis Gerard Drogo b 1952 s of Lt-Cdr William Gerard Drogo MONTAGU 1921-91 (7xgt gs of 1^st Earl of MANCHESTER 1563-1642 who was gt gf of 1^st Duke of MANCHESTER c1662-1722) and Charlotte Delma CALBURN 1927-2017 scion of that gentry family of Effingham Manor.
