According to [https://lordsappointments.independent.gov.uk/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/2025-10-22-HOLAC-XBENCH-PEERS-PRESS-RELEASE.pdf] the following has been announced.

- Professor Dame Clare Gerada, a distinguished medical practitioner with

extensive experience in general practice and mental health.

- Polly Neate CBE, an expert in social policy, specialising in housing,

homelessness and violence against women and girls.

A note: Professor Dame Clare Gerada is Lady Wessely, wife of Prof Sir Simon Charles Wessely, GBE and is also of Maltese descent. She is perhaps the "first Maltese woman" apart from Rosa Monckton to be created a Peer of the Realm.

In googling her name, I come across an "Alice Maynard" who is a CBE, but I don't know if it's the same one.

Regardless, she does not appear on the UK Parliament website.  The last new peer added to that  site is Baroness Lloyd of Effra, on October 13th.
