From the Telegraph of 3 Dec 2021: GIBBS DAVID A.S. Died peacefully on 1st December 2021. Private family funeral. Service of Thanksgiving to be announced later.
He was s of Lt-Col Patrick Somerset GIBBS 1919-61 (gs of 7th Earl of CARRICK 1873-1931) and Mairi Zoe 1920-2007 d of Arthur Macmillan EVANS. He m 1982 Hon Sarah Marcia KIMBALL b 1958 d of LP Baron KIMBALL 1928-2014 and June Mary 1925- d of Sdn-Ldr Montagu John FENWICK RAFVR 1896-1976 scion of that gentry formerly of Thirlestaine House (and of the WALKER gentry family f/o Mount St John, and gt gs of 6th Duke of MANCHESTER 1799-1855 etc), and Marguerite Cecily PEACOCK 1899-1973, and had a son and two daus.
