FARQUHARSON
Colin Andrew on 13th March, beloved husband of Clodagh and the late
Jean, father to Jilly and Mo, stepfather of David, Joanna, Pippy,
Simon and Mark, and adored grandfather and great-grandfather. Private
funeral. Thanksgiving Service in April - date to be announced.

He's of the LG family of Whitehouse, Aberdeenshire (1914 edn). His dau
Jill Mary married The Master of Arbuthnott (b 1950) son and ha of the
16th & present Viscount of Arbuthnott and has issue, including a son
and heir

Colin Andrew Farquharson was the son of Norman Donald ROBERTSON later
FARQUHARSON OF WHITEHOUSE, Aberdeenshire (assumed the surname of
FARQUHARSON on succ his uncle, William Stewart Farquharson of
Whitehouse 1920) and Madeline Irene (who succeeded her husband),
daughter of late W. Count STEELE.
His first wife was Jean Sybil Mary (d 1985) dau of Brig-Gen John
George Harry HAMILTON DSO of Skene House, Aberdeenshire of that gentry
family of Lowood and had three daus, incl Jill(ian) Mary (b 1951) who
m the Master of Arbuthnott as above.
He m 2nd Clodagh, widow of Ian Houldsworth, of Dallas Lodge, Moray,
and dau of Sir Kenneth MURRAY of Geanies of that gentry family, of
Ross-shire.
