From the Telegraph of 3 July 2025: FLOYD Judy Sophia (née Tregoning) died peacefully on 30th June 2025, aged 88. Much loved wife of Giles, mother of Miranda, Charlotte and Suzy, grandmother to Rosalie, Oscar and Alex and great grandmother to Issey and Ella. Thanksgiving service to be announced later.

She was elder d of William Leonard TREGONING CBE 1902-91 sometime head of that gentry family of Landue and his 2^nd w Doris Mary Elwes 1907-85 d of Col John JOSSELYN CMG DSO OBE TD 1872-1943 scion of that gentry family f/o Little Horksley and Lilian Bella 1879-1951 d of Ven William Weston ELWES 1844-1901 by his 4 Aug 1870 m (Bathwick St Mary) to Arabella Bowden 1841- d of Rev Walter Burton LEACH c1801-1860 by his 1827 m to Jane BOWDEN 1799-1871. She m 1^st 1958 Thomas s of Eric Angell LANE, and had three daus (the eldest, Miranda S. b 1959 reg Q3 Lincs m the current head of the BROOMAN-WHITE Scots gentry family of Arddarroch - see below). She m 2^nd as his 2^nd w Sir Giles Henry Charles FLOYD 7^th Bt b 1932.
