Sir Edward Geoffrey Lake (Bill) died at home on 17 July 2023, aged 95. Interment at St. John's, Cowgill, on 4 August 2023.

He died on his 95th birthday.  He was the son of Sir Atwell Henry LAKE, 9th Baronet (1891-1972) and (m 1922) Kathleen Marion TURNER.  He succeeded his brother, Sir Atwell Graham LAKE, 10th Bt in 2013.  He is succeeded by his only son:

Sir Mark Winter LAKE, 12th Baronet (subject to proving his claim and being entered on the Official Roll of the Baronetage) b 1968 m 2001 Patricia Eaven WOODMAN and they have 2 daughters.

The hp is the late Baronet's kinsman (descended from the 4th Bt) Andrew Winter LAKE b 1962 m 1990 (div 2017) Karen Tracey JENNINGS  and has a son Daniel James b 1997 and a dau
