Hi Everyone,
I've started a new project where I'm trying to create a single GEDCOM file with as much of the Peerage, Baronetage, Knightage, and Landed Gentry as possible. I've been taking information from a couple of the sources listed below (I feel that I will eventually have to use them all to have some semblance of completion):
- Burke's Peerage 107th Edition
- Debrett's Peerage Online Database
- The Complete Peerage
- The Complete Baronetage
- Burkes Landed Gentry (1937, 1952, 2005, 18th Edition Vols I-III, Scotland, Wales and NorthWest)
- Burkes Dormant Peerages
- Burkes Guide to the Royal Family (Supplemented by Burkes Royal Families of the World Parts I & II)
- Cracrofts Peerage
- Peerage News (this Google group along with peeragenews.blogspot.com)
Now obviously this may not be enough to have and the reliability of the sources may require a good amount of cross checking, but I'd love your feedback on what other useful sources to use that won't require me to spend too much time researching.
I've attached a PDF with the family tree of the Aberconway Barony that I have ascertained so far from the above sources. (There may be some obvious things I am missing of course) Let me know what you all think and what to keep in mind going forward!
Thank You All
