From the Times of 20 Aug 2024: WHITSON James Alexander died tragically on 10th August 2024, aged 51. Much-loved son of Susannah and the late Gordon. Special and adored father of Kitty, India and Wilf, brother of Harry and his late sister, Lucy, stepson of Tim, and friend to so many. Family funeral. Thanksgiving details to follow.

He was s of Gordon M A P WHITSON d 1974 and as her 1st h Susannah Elizabeth b 1948 d of Sir William Fane WRIXON-BECHER 5th Bt 1915-2000 and as her 2nd h Hon Ursula Vanda Maude VIVIAN 1912-84 d of 4th Baron VIVIAN 1878-1940 and his 2nd w Nancy 1888-1970 d of Sir Edward LYCETT GREEN 2nd Bt 1860-1940 and Ethel Mary WILSON 1865-1934. He m 2001 (div 20_) Tamara d of Francis O'CONNOR, and had a son and two daus as above.
