From the Times of 8 Jan 2022: MAXWELL Sir Michael Eustace George, 9th Baronet of Monreith, passed away peacefully on 28th December 2021, aged 78. Survived by his sister, Diana Helmore, and nieces Katharine Helmore and Charlotte Helmore. Funeral 11am on Friday 21st January at St Ninian’s Priory Church, Bruce Street, Whithorn, DG8 8PY, and committal of ashes afterwards at Kirk-Maiden, Monreith. Reception to follow at Monreith House. He was s of Eustace MAXWELL 1913-71 (s of 8th Bt) and Dorothy Vivien d 2002 d Capt George BELLVILLE of Fermyn Woods Hall, Brigstock, Northants. He never married. He is succ by his 5th cousin:
