From the Telegraph and Times of 2 August 2013: KILNER Cline (Caroline), née Crompton-Inglefield, lost her battle with cancer on 31st July 2013..—Thanksgiving Service at Oakhanger Cottage on Sunday 1st September at 3 p.m. All welcome (bright colours please). No flowers but donations, if desired, to St. Michael's Hospice, Basingstoke, or to Cancer Research UK, c/o Thorne Leggett, 1 Brenthurst, Petersfield Road, Whitehill, Hampshire, GU35 9AR.
She was d of Col Sir John Frederick CROMPTON-INGFLEFIELD TD (1904-88), scion of that gentry family, and his 1st w Rosemary (1903-78) d of Rear-Adm Sir Percy Moreton SCOTT 1st Bt KCB KCVO (1853-1924) and Teresa Roma d of Sir Frederick Dixon DIXON-HARTLAND MP 1st & last Bt (1832-1909) and Agnes Chichester (1860-1955) dau of William Langham CHRISTIE MP (1830-1913), scion of that gentry family of Glyndebourne. She m 1961 Thomas Anthony Alistair s of (Cyril) George Casson KILNER (1896-1960) and Marion Rose KAYE (c1894-1947), and had a son, Toby Jonathan Casson KILNER (b 1966). He m 2000 Finella Sabine Clare (b 1962) d of Lt-Cdr Peter WEDDERBURN-OGILVY (b 1931), scion of the OGILVY-WEDDERBURN Bts [note the different order of the two surnames] and Philippa Sabine Burt d of Col Frederick Arthur WOODS of Winchester House, St Leonards, Sussex.
