From the Times of 24 November 2017: BOLITHO, Sheila Desiree (nee Bourne) late of West Cornwall; died peacefully at home in North Yorkshire, aged 97, on 23rd November. Widow of Sir Edward Bolitho, mother and grandmother. No flowers.

She was d of Rt Hon Robert Croft BOURNE (1888-1938) and Lady Hester Margaret CAIRNS (1895-1985) d of 4th Earl CAIRNS (1865-1946) and Olive COBBOLD (c1871-1952). She m 1950 Lt-Col Sir Edward Hoblyn Warren BOLITHO (1882-1969) sometime head of that gentry family of Trengwainton, and had a son and three daus.
