LINZEE GORDON

Robin Alexander Craig, died peacefully on Monday December 17th 2018, after a short illness, aged 88 years. Much loved husband, father, brother and grandfather. Private Cremation. Memorial service to be announced in the spring.

Robin LINZEE GORDON was the son of Robert Gordon Hood LINZEE (1900-73) and Hon. Ellinor Aileen Cecil CRAIG (1907-1973), who were married 1929 and divorced 1946. He added the surname GORDON in 1967 by decree of the Lyon Court and is presumably a member of a Scots landed family.

Robin married Frances Sheena MacLENNAN (died 1995) in 1958 and with her had 3 sons and 1 dau. He subsequently married Patricia Murray RUSSELL (as her 2nd husband??) in 1998.

Hon Ellinor CRAIG was the dau of the 1st  Viscount CRAIGAVON (1871-1940) and Cecil Mary Nowell Dering Tupper DBE (died 1960), herself a scion of the DERING baronets and the STRATHMORE and KINGHORNE Earls, and so Robin is a distant cousin of HM The Queen.
