From the Telegraph of 22 Aug 2024: Cressida Rose Katharine on 6th August 2024. Very much loved partner, daughter, sister, aunt, niece and cousin, and great friend to so many. A memorial service to celebrate Cressie's life will be held in the autumn.

She was d of Timothy John COMYN b 1951 reg Cambs and Jane Fairrie b 1954 d of Lt-Cmdr Sir John Muir DRINKWATER RN OBE QC 1925-2019 and his 1st w Jennifer Marion 1930-90 d of Edward Fitzwalter WRIGHT 1902-57 (gs of John Bridges PLUMPTRE 1832-88 who was f of 20th Baron FITZWALTER 1860-1932 and gt gf of present 22nd Baron b 1952, as well 2xgt gs of Sir Brook William BRDGES 4th Bt 1767-1829, etc) and Jane Fairie Wilson 1900-89 d of Thomass Chalmers MCGUFFIE 1871-1932 and Janet Agnes Scobie 1873-1948 d of Thomas DUNLOP 1831-93 (who was f of Sir Thomas DUNLOP 1st Bt 1855-1938).
