b 1947 he was the son of Benjamin William Alan PLUNKET MVO (1912-1981), scion of the Barons PLUNKET being the son of the Most Rev and Hon Benjamin John Plunket DD, Bishop of Meath and 2nd son of the 4th Baron, and (m 1943) Pamela (d 1990) dau of Charles WHATLEY. He m 1990 Fiona yr d dau of Gerald JAMES and they have 2 daus
