From the Telegraph of 14 Oct 2021: WHITWORTH Victoria peacefully aged 84. Wife of David Faulkner then Rex Whitworth, much loved mother of John, Kate, Tom, Matthew and Robert, and grandmother to twelve grandchildren. She was d of Maj Robert James BUXTON 1908-68 (2xgt gs of Sir Thomas Fowell BUXTON 1st Bt 1786-1845) and Lilla Mary Alyson PUMPHREY 1914-79 scion of that gentry family f/o Hindley Hall. She m 1st 1958 Maj David James 1932-93 s of Lt-Col Walter Douglas FAULKNER MC 1898-ka1940 and as her 1st h (her 3rd & last h was 11th Earl of Dundee) Patricia Katherine MONTAGU DOUGLAS SCOTT 1910-2012 (gd of 6th Duke of BUCCLEUCH 1831-1914 who was gf of Princess ALICE Duchess of GLOUCESTER 1901-2004), and had 4 sons and a dau. She m 2nd 1999 Maj-Gen Reginald Henry 1916-2004 s of Aymer William WHITWORTH 1877-1976 and Alice Lucy Patience HERVEY 1887-1993 (gt gd of 1st Marquess of BRISTOL 1769-1859 etc).
