It would be interesting if Daniel were to marry the mother of his children, this would place them in line for the Scottish peerages.

Per company records, Francis Desmond McINNES SKINNER was born on 18 June 1925 (N.B. the compound surname seems to have been adopted since his birth, and is sometimes given with, and sometimes without, a hyphen between the two names). He was married in 1952 (registered Q3 - King's Lynn) to Rosemary S RAMSDEN.

Mr McInnes Skinner's parents were Major James Hay McInnes SKINNER (c.1892 - 1962) and his wife (marriage registered in St Giles, Scotland, in 1920), Phyllis Barbara FRANCIS (29 VI 1899 - 18 XII 1985). His sister, Celia McInnes SKINNER (1922 - 2 I 2011) was married, firstly, in 1945, to Roderick Christopher MUSGRAVE (1914 - 22 VII 1946), by whom she had one daughter, Melanie Pensée FitzHerbert MUSGRAVE (born 1946), who was married on 14 February 1969 to (as his first wife; divorced 1975) Col Sir Charles Douglas LOWTHER, 6th Bt (22 I 1946 - 2 X 2018). Mrs Musgrave was married, secondly, on 2 June 1955, to Lt Col John Sholto Henry ("Jock") DOUGLAS, OBE (16 VI 1903 - 15 X 1960), a great-grandson of the 17th Earl of Morton.
