Bonham-Carter, Tom - aged 66 died accidentally on Monday May 21. He will be sorely missed by his daughter, Stephanie, his brother Graeme, his former wife Sylvia and husband Julian who have remained close friends, his step-mother Cynthia, his cousin Tim and wife Mary, and his friends. A memorial service will be held at 3 pm Monday May 28 at the Duke Street Baptist Church, Richmond. Donations to the Schizophrenic Research Fund, New Court, St Swithins Lane, London EC4P 4DU.
He was the younger son of Victor BONHAM-CARTER (b 1913), scion of the gentry family LUBBOCK (formerly BONHAM-CARTER) of Adherst St Mary, and Audrey Edith (b 1914, reg April, Warwickshire) d of Francis Rowe STOGDON of Harrow, Middlesex and __ TAVERNER. He m Sylvia d of ___ and they had a dau, Stephanie (b 1973, Ecuador). She m 2002 Charles Humphrey (b 1972) s of (Patrick) Joseph SCOTT-PLUMMER (b 1943), scion of that gentry family formerly of Sunderland Hall, and his former wife Grizel Elizabeth Ann (b 1948) d of Col Anthony Gerald WAY MC (1920-), scion of that gentry family of Denham and Elizabeth Leslie (b 1926) d of Maj George Mitchell RICHMOND (1883-1957) head of that Scots gentry family of Kincairney, Perthshire. The Scott-Plummers possibly have a son, Alfred David Buik (b 2003, reg April, Kensington), and possibly other issue outside the scope of the Ancestry BMD.
