He was s of 2nd Baron BADEN-POWELL (1913-62) and Carine Crause (1909-93) d of Clement Hamilton Crause BOARDMAN (1870-1936) of Johannesburg, South Africa and Lilian Gertrude DOYLE (1873-1938). He m 1963 Patience Hélène Mary CBE DL (1936-2010) d of Maj Douglas Myers BATTY of Zimbabwe. His brother succeeds him:

DAVID MICHAEL Baden-Powell (b 1940) [4th] Baron BADEN-POWELL, has yet to establish his claim and appear on the Peerage Roll. He m 1966 Joan Phillips d of Horace William BERRYMAN of Melbourne, Australia, and has three sons.

I believe that the only heirs to this title are the 3 sons of the new Baron. To my knowledge they have no sons, and only one is married per Richard's post. Unless something changes here, the title is moving slowly towards extinction in about 30-50 years.

The Baden-Powell document I saved from the Burke's site several years ago has the second son, Alexander Peter, as having m. 31 Oct. 2003, Lara Allie, dau. of Phillip Coysh, of Tintaldra, Australia; thepeerage.com, citing an e-mail from Robin Baden Clay (grandson of the 1st Baron), gives three children, Kylah, Arki, and Rani, all daughters per that site. The 2015 death notice of Lara Baden-Powell confirms they were daughters- https://www.legacy.com/obituaries/name/lara-baden-powell-obituary?pid=174709771 I couldn't find anything about the third son, Myles.

The latest Kershaw baronetage list (12.01.2010) states that the youngest heir was b 2009 so one of the sons must have had at least one son

Nonetheless, by way of some confirmation see the obit notice of Graham Fraser FOSTER (1929 - 2020), father of Edwina Sophie, the Hon Mrs BADEN-POWELL, wife of the ha.
