From the Telegraph of 13 March 2024: THISTLETHWAYTE Christina (née Herridge) died peacefully on 28th February, aged 86. Beloved wife of the late Seymour, loving mother of Thomas, Lucy and Alexander, mother-in-law to Harriet, Robin and Lucy, devoted grandmother and great-grandmother to 10. Memorial Service at St Peter's Church, Petersfield at 2 p.m. on Friday 19th April.

She was d of Geoffrey Howard HERRIDGE CMG 1904-97 and Dorothy Elvira TOD 1911-2000. She m 1959 Seymour Evelyn 1931-2004 s of Lt-Cmdr Arthur Donald Claude Thomas THISTLETHWAYTE RNVR 1903-56 sometime head of that gentry family f/o Southwick Park and his 2^nd w Hon Gwladys Eileen BERRY 1908-55 d of 1^st and only Baron BUCKLAND 1877-1928 (bro of 1^st Viscount CAMROSE 1879-1954 and 1^st Viscount KEMSLEY 1883-1968) and Gwladys Mary 1884-1971 d of Simon SANDBROOK 1849-1922 of Merthyr Tydfil by his c1884 m reg Q1 Merthyr Tydfil to Rachel c1859-1907 d of John SIBBERING c1830-1906 (timber merchant), and had issue:
