From the Telegraph of 27 October 2014: THORPE  On 27th October, to Harriet (née Staveley) and Ben, a son, Samuel William Ernest, a brother for Vanessa, Jack and Oliver.

I take the mother to be Harriet Therese Norrie STAVELEY-HILL (b 1981, reg June, Hammersmith) d of Henry Dudley D'Arcy STAVELEY-HILL (b 1942), scion of that gentry family formerly of Oxley Manor, by his m 1980 to Anna Therese Norrie (b 1953) d of Maj Michael Augustus Tulke TRASENSTER CVO (b 1923), scion of that gentry family of Coombe Place, and of the gentry family BARRETT formerly of Barr House, and Fay Norrie DARLEY.

Sorry, it's from the Telegraph of 29 October. The birth took place on 27 October.

The mother is Harriet A. Staveley:

The engagement was announced 25 Oct 2005, between Benjamin W.R. Thorpe,
only son of Mr & Mrs Gerald Thorpe, of Northwood, Middlesex, & Harriet
A. Staveley, scion of that BLG family, eldest daughter of the late
Simon Staveley, and Mrs Simon Staveley, of Ripon, North Yorkshire.

Thanks for the correction. It's very useful, and one of the strengths of this group, that other posters supply information and corrections.
I'm afraid I've rather a large backlog of BMD pages to go through (around 50 at the moment) and so sometimes post at a speed that regrettably, though unintentionally, sacrifices accuracy.
