From the Telegraph of 25 Feb 2023: HICKS Jeremy very sadly died on 13th February. Much loved husband of Joanna, wonderful father to Will and Els, loving father-in-law to Aly and Matt, proud PopPops to Jaks, Freya, Thea and Freddie and a great friend to many. Private funeral. Service of Thanksgiving will be held at Cirencester Parish Church on Friday 16th June at 2 p.m. No flowers please, but donations, if desired, to Heart Research UK.

He was s of William HICKS b 1927 reg Q2 Glos. by his 1951 m reg Q3 Glos. to Anne Henrietta Bernice BLAKEWAY 1929-2020. He m 1979 Joanna Vivian b 1955 d of Lt-Col John Hamilton PALAIRET 1917-69 and as her 1^st h Anne Marjorie 1928-2020 d of Sir Arthur Harold BIBBY 1st Bt 1889-1986 and Marjorie Guthrie 1898-1985 d of Charles James WILLIAMSON 1871-1921 and Quenelda Mary CLEGG 1874-1969, and had a son (whose 2^nd w is Alexia BRANDRAM b 1985 gt gd of King CONSTANTINE I of Greece 1868-1923 (by his wife a dau of Empress Victoria of Germany, d of Queen VICTORIA)) and a dau as above.
