From the Telegraph of 11 August 2020: GRIGG Anthony (Lord Altrincham) died peacefully at home in Spain on 1st August 2020. He is survived by his wife, Eliane, his children, Sebastian, Casilda, and Steven, and eight grandchildren, Edward, George, Katherine, Charlotte, Arthur, Yuriko, Mariko and Ayami. A service will be held in London later this year.

He was s of 1st Baron ALTRINCHAM (1879-1955) and Hon Joan Alice Katherine DICKSON-POYNDER (1897-1987) d of 1st & last Baron ISLINGTON (1866-1936) and Anne Beauclerk DUNDAS (1869-1958), scion of the Scots gentry family of that name and gd of 1st Baron NAPIER OF MAGDALA (1810-90). He m 1965 Elaine DE CASSAGNE DE BEAUFORT d of the Marquis de Miramon of Paris, and had two sons and a dau. His elder son succeeds him.

EDWARD SEBASTIAN Grigg (b 1965) [4th] Baron ALTRINCHAM, has yet to establish his claim and appear on the The Peerage Roll, but note he does not use the courtesy prefix of 'Hon'. He m 1993 Rachel Sophia (b 1965) d of Laurence Charles Kevin KELLY (b 1933), scion of the Irish gentry family of that name of Tara House, and Alison Linda (b 1936) d of Maj Ronald Guthrie MCNAIR SCOTT (1904-95), sometime head of the gentry family of that name of Huish House, and Hon Mary Cecilia BERRY (1906-96) d of 1st Viscount CAMROSE (1879-1954), and had two sons and a dau.

It seems unnecessary to note here (but I will for those from another planet!) that the late Lord Altrincham succeeded his brother the 2nd Baron, who disclaimed his peerage after notoriously attacking the monarchy and 'the establishment' through the press in the 1960s, as outdated and out of touch

From the House of Lords Minutes of Proceedings 27 November 2020:

Barony of Altrincham in the Peerage of the United Kingdom The Lord Chancellor reported that Edward Sebastian Grigg [4th Baron] had established his claim to the Barony of Altrincham in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. The Clerk of the Parliaments was accordingly directed to enter Lord Altrincham on the register of hereditary peers maintained under Standing Order 10(5).
