From the Telegraph of 9 Dec 2022: SINGER Michael died peacefully surrounded by family at the Arthur Rank Hospice, Cambridge on 1st December, aged 83. Dearly beloved husband to Helen and much loved father to Caroline, Serena and Jeremy and devoted grandfather. Michael was a pillar of the family and will be dearly missed. He was s of Col Ernest Oscar Adolph SINGER 1892-1957 and Margaret 1904-97 d of Sir Arthur Charles DAVIS 1st Bt 1878-1950 and Elsie KEEBLE 1878-1967. He m 1st 1968 (div 1982) Patricia Deline b 1942 d of James Owen NEEDHAM 1897-1975 (gt gs of 1st Earl of KILMOREY 1787-1980) and Marjorie Hylda Adeline 1908-2000 d of Charles George Lumley CATOR 1872-1954 scion of that gentry family of Woodbastwick (gs of Sir George BAKER 3rd Bt 1816-82 and gt gs of 7th Earl of SCARBOROUGH 1760-1835 etc) and Adeline Louisa 1874-1941 d of Sir John Ralph BLOIS 8th Bt 1830-88, and had a son and two daus as above. He m 2nd Helen Katherine Elizabeth MARSTON b July 1950.
