Miss A.S. Riddell - The engagement is announced between Freddie, eldest son of
Sir Andrew and Lady McAlpine, of Hexham, Northumberland, and Alice, youngest
daughter of Mr and Mrs Sean Riddell, of Ripon, North Yorkshire.
