From the Telegraph of 10 Jan 2024: KENYON Nicholas Tyrell-Kenyon 7th Lord Kenyon died on 27th December aged 51. He is hugely missed by his family and friends. Family cremation. A Celebration of his life will take place at Hanmer Church on Friday 26th January at 11 a.m. All welcome.

He succeeded his father the 6^th Baron & 6^th Bt in 2019 but may not have established his claim to either title, as he did not appear on The Peerage Roll of Nov 2023, and the baronetcy is listed as vacant.

He was s of 6^th Baron KENYON 1947-2019 and Sally Carolyn b c1950 reg Q1 Berks d of John (Jack) Frank Page MATTHEWS 1915-85 of Thurston, Suffolk by his c1949 m reg Q1 Bucks to Barbara [May] CROWLE [1922-87]. He never married and is succ. by his brother:

I recall having a conversation with friend in 93 about how few holders there were for a then 2005 year old barony. Looking at the line of succession, the number of holders could increase to around 12 in the next 10-15 years. Are their any ancestral landholdings for this family?

malta, I don't think they are Barons of Gredington. The confusion stems from the fact that there was a fad of creating many 18th century baronies in the form of "Lord XX, Baron of YY in the County of ZZ". In the case of Kenyon, it is "Lord Kenyon, Baron of Gredington in the County of Flint". In modern terms of territorial designation and how it out to be rendered, it is "Baron Kenyon, of Gredington in the County of Flint".
