A Henrietta Nora nicknamed 'Charity' having a sister (nick)named 'Hetta', which is itself a nickname for 'Henrietta' seemed a little unusual; this- https://announcements.telegraph.co.uk/marketplace/advert/norman-notices_40108 - seems to indicate 'Hetta' Norman was Henrietta: "NORMAN Henrietta (Hetta) died peacefully on 17th March 2022 aged 65. Beloved daughter of Bill and the late Beryl, sister of Stephen, Julia, James, Sarah, Charity and the late Paul".

Also: "Charity Norman was born in Kampala, Uganda, the seventh child of missionary parents, raised in Yorkshire and Birmingham" (https://clairemcalpine.com/2024/02/15/remember-me-by-charity-norman-2022/), "Charity Norman 22 November 2024  I turned 60 a couple of days back. 60?! Surely some mistake!" (https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1192507629013720&id=100047634826291&set=a.219444536320039)- indicates a birth for Charity Norman of Nov. 1964.

It seems very likely that the late Mr Norman's wife was the Beryl Norman, born 17 November 1926, whose death was registered in Wandsworth in Q2 2016. A probate record, if I have correctly matched it, shows that she died on 14 June 2016.

I have only been able to account for nine of the grandchildren of Mr and Mrs Norman with any degree of certainty, and none of the great-grandchildren. However, a point of interest is that their third daughter, Sarah Alice NORMAN (born 13 I 1961), who is now Her Honour Judge Whitehouse, KC, is the former wife (married 1988, divorced 2008) of Andrew Timothy Brian WHITEHOUSE (born 25 XI 1961), the younger son of Brian Paul WHITEHOUSE (24 V 1933 - 23 IV 1991) and his wife, Jane Margaret ROBERTS-WEST (born 31 X 1932), for whom see the Alston-Roberts-West pedigree in Burke's Landed Gentry.
