From the Times of 3 Oct 2023: BEVAN Hugh Charles died peacefully at home on Friday 29th September, aged 62. Loving and deeply loved husband of Etta, much-loved father of Hector, Rufus and Toby and friend to many. Private funeral, memorial service to be announced.

He was s of Sir Timothy Hugh BEVAN 1927-2016 and Pamela Murray c1931-2019 d of Norman SMITH. He m 1991 reg Q1 Henrietta Mary b c1964 d of Geoffrey WARNER. Their son Hector Hugh b 29 May 1992 (Times 3 June) engagement announced 1 June 2022 in DT to Georgina Elizabeth C. b 15 June 1992 (Times 20 June) d of Simon Walter Hugh FFENNELL b 1956 (s of Jane Christine RYDER 1927-2017 (2xgt gd of 1st Earl of HARROWBY 1762-1847 and 3xgt gd of 1st Marquess of STAFFORD 1721-1803, f of 1st Duke of SUTHERLAND etc) and Lucinda Mary b 1961 d of Lt-Cdr Christopher John RINGROSE-VOASE 1929-90 sometime head of that gentry family f/o Anlaby House, and Patricia Anne BUSHE b c1934.
