From the Telegraph & Times of 3 April 2021: SEBAG-MONTEFIORE Peter, died on 25th March 2021, aged 91. Beloved husband of Joanna and much loved by his children, Geoffrey, Louise, Edward, Nigel and Claire and his four  grandchildren. A private funeral will be followed by a memorial service when circumstances allow.

He was s of Maj Geoffrey Edmund SEBAG-MONTEFIORE (1893-1943), scion of that gentry family f/o East Cliff Lodge, and Elizabeth Grace TROYTE-BULLOCK (1898-1975), scion of that gentry family of Zeals. He m 1960 Joanna Ethne Julia 1938-2020 d of Gen Sir (Joseph Howard) Nigel POETT KCB DSO (1907-91) and (Ethne) Julia (1916-94) d of E J HERRICK of Hawkes Bay, NZ, and had three sons and two daus as above:

3 Nigel D b 1965

1 Louise Elizabeth Julia b 1962 m 1987 reg Q3 London John D b 1960 reg Q2 London s of John V ASPINALL by his c1956 m reg Q1 London to Naomi Jane G HASTINGS and had two daus (Tansy b 1989 reg Q4 London and Clary b 1992 reg Q3 London)
