Vivian Countess of Munster, who died 7 May, 2008, aged 99, was the
second wife, and widow, of Capt the 6th Earl of Munster, Irish Guards
(1899-1983). She was Vivian Schofield dau of Benjamin Schofield, of
Greenroyde, Rochdale, Lancashire, & step-dau of Judge A.J. Chotzmer,
MP, and married the then Capt Edward Charles FitzClarence in 1939. Her
was a son of Brig-Gen Charles FitzClarence, VC, Irish Guards, and a
grandson of Capt the Hon George FitzClarence, and a grea-grandson of
the 1st Earl of Munster, and a great-great-grandson of HM King William
IV by Dorothea Jordan. Lady Munster was childless. The Munster earldom
bec\ame extinct with the demiseof her step-son, the 7th & last Earl,
30 Dec 2000.

The countess died shortly before her 100th birthday.
