The recent Kershaw baronetcies list shows that (Sir) Richard Muir (he did not use the title nor was he on the Roll) died in 2023.  DPB online (nor thepeerage.com nor wikipedia) have not  picked this up.

At the moment I can only find a post on X from Friends of Mau Watershed (FOMAWA) - he  lived in Kenya - dated 20 Dec 2023 "A kind-Hearted, Loving and Devoted Father and Husband. An Upright Leader, an Organizer and Humanitarian whom we all loved has Rested RIP 1939-2023." with photo.  A subsequent post dated 21 Dec says he was cremated "today" (with photos).  Can't seem to link to the X account.  No date of death given

He was the son of Sir John Harling Muir, 3rd baronet ( 1910-1994) and (m 1936) Elizabeth Mary DUNDAS (of the Earls of Zetland).  He m (1) 1965 (div 1974) Susan Elizabeth GARDENER and (2) 1975 Lady Lindy Mary COLE d of the 6th Earl of Enniskillen and had two daus (the elder decd) by his 1st m and two daus by his 2nd m.

He is succeeded by his brother (Sir) Ian Charles MUIR, 5th Baronet (subject to proving his claim and being entered on the Official Roll of the Baronetage) b 1940 who m 1967 Fiona Barbara Elspeth MACKENZIE.  They have issue three daus.

The heir presumptive is the next brother Andrew Hugh John MUIR b 1943 who m (1) 1969 (div 1993) Primrose Jean Onslow HOW (of the Earls of Onslow) and (2) 1993 Mrs Ann Mary JENKINS nee CORBALLY.  He has a son and a dau by his 1st m
