She was d of Stamford Robert Francis VANDERSTEGEN-DRAKE (b 1927), scion of the DRAKE gentry family of Inshriach, and Carolyn Mary (1930-2012) d of Sir George Robert MOWBRAY 5th Bt (1899-1969). She m 1st 1978 (div 1984) William Gerald (b 1950) s of Brig William Watson CHEYNE (1920-70, s of Sir Joseph Lister CHEYNE 2nd Bt of Leagarth (1888-1957)) and Laurel Audrey HUTCHINSON (1926-2006), scion of the JERVIS-WHITE-JERVIS, RUGGLES-BRISE & BOWYER-SMITH Bts, and had a dau Katherine Clare (Katie) (b 1980, she m a gs of 4th Marquess of NORMANBY and has issue). She m 2nd 1984 (reg Q3 Hampshire) Christopher John Bertram (b 1950 reg Q4 Buckinghamshire) s of Dr Frank Bertram BROMFIELD (1919-89) by his 1945 m (reg Q3 Gloucestershire) to Mabel Anne POWELL (1924-97), and had a son and another dau.
