From the Telegraph of 12 March 2021: CORKRAN Lieutenant Colonel Richard Seymour OBE late Grenadier Guards, most dearly loved husband of Jane and father of Claire and Alexandra, died peacefully on 9th March 2021 aged 84 after a long illness in the tender care of Blatchington Manor and Abundant Grace Care Homes. A small funeral will be held on Friday 26th March at St Michael and All Angels, Berwick, to be followed by a Service of Thanksgiving in the summer. No flowers please, but donations, if desired, to Alzheimer’s Research UK.
He was s of Maj Giles Seymour CORKRAN 1911-96 (4xgt gs of 1st Marquess of HERTFORD 1718-94 and 5xgt gs of 2nd Duke of GRAFTON 1683-1757 gs of King CHARLES II and the Duchess of CLEVELAND) by his 1935 m reg Q4 Essex to Isabel F E NUTTALL c1909-1968. He m 1967 Jane Melanie b 1947 d of John Francis PAGET 1903-89 (2xgt gs of 1st Earl of UXBRIDGE 1744-1812 who was f of 1st Marquess of ANGLESEY 1768-1854) and Ann Millicent BLUNDELL 1910-81, and had two daus as above.
