From the Telegraph of 14 July 2026: STANDISH Diana Huguette died peacefully aged 93 on 11th July. Beloved wife to Tony of 70 years and wonderful mother to Miles, Alex, Caroline and Edward, with 7 beautiful grandchildren. Private family service and cremation.

She was the dau of Hugh GORDON of Kirkcudbright. She m 1956 Anthony Edward Byron b 1931 s of Edward William STANDISH 1903-33 (who he succ as) head of that gentry family f/o Standish & Scaleby and as her 2 h Sheila Margaret BYRON 1903-2007 (sister of 12 Baron BYRON 1899-1989, as well 4xgt gd of 4 Baron BYRON 1670-1736 who was gt gf of the poet 6 Baron BYRON), and had three sons and a dau as above.
