"On January 12, 2024, Susan Ruth Touche-Arends passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family following an extended illness.
"Susan was born on July 26, 1957, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, to Sir Rodney Gordon Touche and Lady Touche (née MacLellan). Susan moved with her family to Vancouver, British Columbia, in 1959, then grew up in Calgary, Alberta, from 1961, attending St. Mary’s High School..
"In 1987, Susan met Trevor Bruce Arends at a Fine Young Cannibals concert at Brixton Academy. The couple were married, twice, in May 1992. First, the couple eloped to the beaches of Belize and, a week later, were married again at the Chelsea Methodist Church on the King’s Road...
"Susan was predeceased by her mother (2009) and father (2017), and her older sister, Amanda Bowler (2002). Susan is survived by her loving husband of thirty-two years, Trevor; their five children, Cosmo, Sebastian, Islah, Siri, and Finnley; her brother, Eric Touche; her sister Karen Lightstone; and her 19-year old Russian blue cat, Madison.
"A private celebration of life will be held later this year. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Newport Art Museum"

By the way, Burke's incorrectly lists her first child, Cosmo (b.1990), as being from her first marriage. Debrett's 2019 makes clear that he was born well after the first marriage ended, and shows Cosmo to be from the second husband.
