From the Telegraph of 25 May 2024: BUSH John Barnard CVO, OBE, KStJ died peacefully on 11th May 2024 aged 87. Beloved husband of the late Pam and much loved father of Alex and Carly, grandfather of five and great grandfather of three. Former Lord Lieutenant of Wiltshire. Funeral at Edington Priory, Westbury on Thursday 30th May at 2 p.m. All welcome.

He was s of Barnard Robert Swanton BUSH 1912-2001 of Bath, Som. by his 1936 m reg Q2 Somerset to Elizabeth Anne (Annie) WEEKS 1912-2004. He m 1961 Pam(ela) Eve Irene 1938-2021 d of Lt-Cdr William BAGWELL 1905-79 sometime head of that Irish gentry family and Evelyn Irene Hamilton WILLS 1896-1965 (gd of Sir Frederick WILLS 1st Bt 1838-1909 who was f of 1st Baron DULVERTON 1880-1956), and had a son and a dau, as above:
